Who Is God?

Who Is God?

Once six blind men came across an elephant for the first time in their lives. After touching different parts of the elephant, every one of them started describing enthusiastically what they thought the elephant was like.
One man who had touched the side of the elephant exclaimed, “It is like a wall which appears that it may fall anytime”. The second man who had touched the tusk said, “O! It is so very round, smooth and sharp. The elephant is like a spear”. The third man who touched the trunk said, “Don’t you understand that the elephant is like a snake?”
The fourth man who had grasped one the legs of the elephant felt that the elephant was like a tree. The fifth man had touched one of the ears of the elephant and stated that it was like a fan. The sixth man had caught hold of the swinging tail of the elephant commented “Why don’t you all understand that the elephant is like a rope!”
In this way, they went on arguing until they resorted to the help of a learned with proper eyesight. The learned man felt pity for them and told them the complete description of the elephant and then all the six blind men felt satisfied.

Friends, just like these six blind persons we are also unable to understand the god. In Bhagavathgeetha Lord Krishna says that “He created this world. He is in smallest thing like atoms and he is also in the galaxies. He is the only energy responsible to run this world”.

Bhagavathgeetha

Bhagavathgeetha

Bhagavathgeetha is a conversation between Lord Krishna and Arjuna. Here they discuss lot more than life, human duties, what is good and bad? Who is god? What is karma yoga? etc which is relevant to today’s life. It is very vast but I try to explain simple trailer of Bhagavathgeetha in my way. Following are said by Lord Krishna to Arjuna: About soul: Human’s body is made up of water, soil, fire, air and sky. Energy to this body is called as soul. Here Lord Krishna explains God is nothing but Energy. We are all part of that Energy. Our soul can change human bodies when they become old just like we change our cloths. Energy (soul) neither be created nor be destroyed. Soul is not going to kill by any weapon, fire and time. Soul is immortal and human body is like a home to it. Soul has unlimited power but when it enters the body, it forgets all the energy. All surrounded by us is nothing but an illusion. Just for example think you’re playing some vision related computer game, o…
